What to put on a fitted diaper: wool panties or wool cover?
A set consisting of wool pants + fitted diaper is one of the most popular diapering systems chosen by parents as a night diaper. It works well for children of all ages. Fitted diaper + wool cover is a less common combination. Does it even make sense?
It's a yes from us!
That's why we've designed our wool covers in a way that they thoroughly cover the fitted diaper placed underneath.
The fitted diaper successfully serves as an absorbent insert, especially for babies who are exclusively fed with milk, as it keeps the runny poop inside the diaper. The elastics surrounding the baby's thighs and those on the back effectively prevent the contents from leaking outward.
If your baby uses the fitted diaper during the day, you may want to use it in combination with a wool cover and, of course, there is nothing to stop you from doing so.
❓ What about double the number of ears and snaps on baby's tummy?
➡️ Try combining a fitted diaper and a wool cover with different types of fastenings. Choose one with snaps and the other with velcro. However, two diapers with fasteners don't have to be uncomfortable for the baby either. A lot depends on the age/size of the baby and how mobile they are at their stage of development.

When might this work particularly well?
When you don't need a lot of absorbency in the fitted diaper and you put a thin insert in it, but you care about stopping the milk poop from escaping onto the wool cover.

When you have woolen pants in the wash and need another diaper for the night. We recommend adding a wool liner, which from our point of view is a very important part of night diapering.
