Organic recycled felt made of 100% wool
The disana wool bags made of organic and recycled wool are not only an absolute eye-catcher, but also very functional and available in many shiny colours. What’s more, they have a story to tell.
Because in every disana bag there’s a jumper, knitted trousers or a hat.
When producing disana clothing, there are cut remains. Several tonnes every year. Too small to process them but too precious to throw them away. Therefore, we initiated a unique upcycling project, in which those pieces are torn apart into fine wool felt and then processed to become felt cloth. Thanks to soft merino wool it feels cosily soft and smooth and is yet extremely sturdy. Perfect to make beautiful bags out of it. Simply a bag with a history.
