How it works?
The absorbent part - in this set it is a high quality Leak Lock SIO pocket with Quick&Easy insert - not the usual cotton flat diaper. This set of inserts is a great choice for a newborns who make milky poop - the elastics on the sides of the LeakLock pocket prevent soiling of the wool cover.
The waterproof part - the wool cover keeps the absorbent part on the baby’s bottom and prevents leaks.

What exactly is included in the set?
In this set you can find a diaper that is enough for one use, but if you want, you can buy also:
• One more wool cover and some cotton flat diapers (economical option)
• One or more wool covers, cotton flat diapers, LeakLock sleeves, absorbent inserts and fitted diapers (extended option)
After using the diaper, inserts should be washed and wool cover only needs to be aired out. Diaper is reusable, so after washing you can use it again for infinite number of times.
Newborn diapers are in size that fit for babies since their born until they reach weight approximately 5.5-6 kg (which is around 2-3 months).
The set also includes a sample of wool shampoo and lanolin wool treatment to impregnate the wool cover.

How to use the diaper?
Due to the fact that babies in the first months of life are fed exclusively with milk, the diaper's task is not only to have good absorbency, but also to prevent the liquid content from leaking out. This can be achieved in three ways:
- using LeakLock sleeves with Quick&Easy inserts, which, thanks to the delicate elastics that adhere to the baby's thighs, will keep the liquid contents inside the diaper
- using a flat diaper folded in "origami fold", that looks like "panties"
- using fitted diapers that work similar to disposables
Whichever method you choose, a wool cover should be placed over the fitted or flat diaper or with the LeakLock Snap In One Sleeve inside.
When changing the diaper into a clean one, the inside, absorbent part goes to wash, while the cover will be hung up for an air-dry.
WASHING INSTRUCTIONS:
We attach a leaflet to each order, in which we write how to take care of our diapers and how to impregnate the covers. Washing instructions can also be found on the labels attached to each product. Below we present a short description:
- you only wash the wool covers in wool shampoo, in a washing machine on a certified program designed for washing wool or by hand, remembering that the washing and rinsing temperature has to be similar. You wash the covers rarely, according to the intensity of use. Usually once every few weeks.
- flat diapers, absorbent inserts and fitteds are washed in a washing machine at a temperature of 60 Celsius degrees, in the same powder as you use for children's clothing. Personally, the owners of PUPPI have been using Domol Ultra Sensitive powder from Rossmann.
